Excellent venue
Myself and a group of six friends stayed at the cottage this year for the IoW festival, it is the second time we´ve rented this venue and as before, it was perfect. Even though there were 7 of us, the place didn´t feel crowded. It is very well maintained, in excellent condition, well decorated and superbly equipped; the kitchen is better than my own! There is free view tv, a decent dvd collection and board games as well. The cottage is walking distance from Cowes Port and the cute little town. It has a great back garden and BBQ. We have already made a reservation to stay again next year!
A very nice place to stay
We spent five night here as a family group of five including a three month old. The cottage is very pleasant place to be in. A peaceful street only a short walk from the centre of Cowes. The cottage is comfortable and extremely well equipped - and the Wi-Fi connection is excellent.
Absolutely lovely house in a great location
My 4 friends and I stayed in Cowes for a weekend in October and Regatta Cottage was absolutely perfect for us. It's beautifully decorated and really well-equipped - more than enough plates, glasses, cutlery, etc. The location was brilliant - just 5 minutes walk to the High Street and the seafront. Amanda was lovely and offered lots of advice and tips before our stay and, from an administration point of view, was very efficient.
Great house & near to everything
Had a fab week in IOW - the house is easy to find (just behind the chain ferry).
Minimalistic decor - loved the Egyptian cotton duvet covers & sheets.
There are plenty of glasses, mugs, cutlery, plates & serving dishes - very impressed!!
We weren't at the house enough to enjoy the garden - but it's very pleasant.
Parking is not great as its on street parking - but it didn't deter us & we always got a space.... it wasn't the end of the world!
Would definitely stay again at Regetta Cottage - Cowes Week was buzzing & we just caught the end of it! Thanks Amanda for letting us stay!
Well equipped clean Family holiday home
Firstly, Amanda, the owner, made the initial enquiry and booking VERY easy. She's a genuine person!!
The house is clean, very well equipped and spacious. Almost too much room for the five of us. The welcome pack is a nice touch.
Nice compact but well thought out rear garden.
The area was quiet and only a short walk from town.
The only negative is the `on street parking'.
All in all though it was a great base and only 25 mins from the Wightlink ferry.
Beautiful house with lovely garden
Regatta Cottage is a lovely rental, equipped to a very high standard and clearly recently refurbished. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise and made our lives much easier particularly as we were only there for a weekend.
Key pick up and return is at a local pub (in West Cowes centre near the hi speed ferry) and was nice and easy. Is about 5-10 minute walk from the property. There are several keys which is useful for large groups.
The garden looked lovely but we didn't really get a chance to use it, mores the pity.
Lovely Cottage & Location
Great few days at Regatta Cottage, it was spotless and very well equipped,bedrooms good sizes,big kitchen & lounge.Short walk to Town&Restaurants. Dealing with Amanda was excellent,we would go again.
Perfect Holiday Rental
From the first contact with Amanda I knew this place was going to be great.
Amanda was very prompt and helpful in answering emails and throughout the booking process.
The cottage itself is amazing. A huge kitchen, lovely backyard and very comfy beds!
Everything you could think of is catered for including kitchen equipment, dvd's, and sensor lights on the landing!
I highly recommend this Cottage for it's great location to West Cowes centre and homely feel. There is already talk of going back next year we had such a great stay.
Great property in Cowes
Just had a great week in this cottage visiting extended family. House was spotless and had a lovely garden to relax in. The house was also well stocked with books, DVD's and board games. Location was great and a short walk to shops and very easy to get to the chain ferry over to East Cowes. Would recommend to anybody coming to the island and cannot recommend highly enough.
A real home from home
One of the most comfortable holiday rentals we have had. Great for those who prefer eating in - a very well equipped kitchen. All the beds were very comfortable and the bedding and linen spotlessly clean. The garden was lovely and would be a great place to spend time in the warmer weather. The property is only a short walk from the town centre which has some lovely coffee shops/bars. It was also only around a 30 minute drive to most other parts of the island. A very enjoyable holiday.
Perfect location for exploring Cowes
The house is perfectly located with only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Cowes and 10 minutes to the esplanade. The house is light, spacious and really well equipped with lots of personal touches. The garden is fantastic for eating and relaxing in. The only problem we found was parking nearby in the peak of the summer season (probably a problem all over Cowes).
Lovely house in a great location
I spent a week at Regatta Cottage with husband, 3 year old son and mother-in-law, with my sister-in-law and her kids joining us for a couple of days.
Regatta Cottage was a perfect base for a week exploring Isle of Wight. IoW is so small that nowhere is more than 40 minutes drive away but the house is also in a great location for the chain bridge and the East Cowes port and for a walk into Cowes, which is a lovely town.
Regatta Cottage is beautifully decorated and fitted out with everything we could need. We were all very comfortable and sorry to leave at the end of the week. The welcome basket was a nice touch and the information folders were very useful. Highly recommended.
A lovely place to come home...
We had a great time at Regatta Cottage, everything was well organised, clean, tidy and welcoming - just as described in the write up and really well located. The owners were friendly, efficient, helpful in all the arrangements and even the local shop owner made us feel right at home helping us with the welcome pack in the rain! Despite the weather we even managed a little time in the sun in the garden (great for al fresco breakfasts). All in all it was a lovely, cosy place to relax in of an evening or come home to after rather wet, hair-raising experiences in faulty RIB's!! A definite godsend of comfort and cosiness! Thanks for helping make my friend's hen weekend so good, we would definitely return.
Spotless and spacious property in a perfect location
We had a wonderful holiday at Regatta Cottage. The property owner was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. The house is beautifully decorated, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. You couldnt ask for more. It is well located for Cowes and the rest of the Island. I can't find fault with Regatta Cottage, which isn't like me at all! I highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay!!
The house is very well presented and extremely clean and tidy. The main bedrooms are light and airy with comfortable beds. The kitchen is very well equipped and great for groups/crews. A very enjoyable stay, definitely will be visiting again. Luke

Clean comfortable and convenient
Very helpful owner and a very comfortable cottage. We used it as a base whilst competing in the Swan European regatta rather than sleeping on the boat. It al worked very well. Would definitely use Regatta Cottage again.
First rate accommodation in Cowes - great value and have booked again
Booked Regatta Cottage for one week in June around the Round the island Race - using it as a base for corparate clients who didn't want to stay on the boat.
The house was spotless, very well furnished and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The welcome pack of tea/coffee/bisucuits etc was a good touch.
Amanda the owner has been a pleasure to deal with at all times and very efficient.
I would recommend this house to everyone.
Superb Home by The Sea
Regatta Cottage is everything you would want from a holiday home. It is carefully and thoughtfully laid out for the guests. The quality of furnishings is of a high standard and that makes the place feel solid and luxurious. Everything is modern clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped and copes easily with a big family meal. The bathrooms are white. clean, well appointed and modern. The beds are all good quality and very comfy and the bedrooms are really nicely furnished. The dining room and living room are great with comfy leather sofas, solid oak dining table and chairs and wood flooring. We loved the garden even in winter and for sunny days there is everything you would need , table chairs , even a hammock !! It is just a short walk from Cowes centre so fabulous for eating out and catching the ferry. A lovely house in great location thank you for a lovely stay.

If I was judging you on customer service I would give you 10/10. You left no stone unturned to ensure that we knew everything and that our time at the cottage would be a really positive experience - which it certainly was.

I just wanted to write and say thank you for a wonderful stay at Regatta Cottage. We loved the house, as a couple who have rented all over the world, this must be one of the smartest and nicest houses we have rented. It is so nice to be in a property that has space and light, whilst also providing every 'mod con' and (very important to us) great, modern, good quality bathrooms.
It is such a quiet house, especially as it is located so close to the town, ferries, restaurants and bars. Your information folder made sure we got fully acquainted with and became fans of the Isle of Wight. We had some fabulous walks on the Tennyson Downs.
